About the Business One-Stop Shop Hub (Hub)

The PA Business One-Stop Shop Hub is an online business administration tool designed to make managing a business easier, more efficient, and more organized. It gives business owners, associates, and practitioners a single, secure place to complete key tasks and access important resources.

Once logged in, you can create business profiles, create and save custom checklists, receive timely notifications and our quarterly newsletter, store and share documents, access Commonwealth business systems, and more. By bringing these tools together in one location, the Hub streamlines routine tasks and helps you stay on top of your business responsibilities with confidence.

Department of State’s Business Filing Services (BFS)

To access the logged-in version of the Department of State’s Business Filing Services (BFS) system, you must sign into the Hub. BFS is used to:

  • Officially register, amend, or close a business
  • File UCC documents
  • Find and purchase existing business and UCC records

After signing in, from the Home page, under My Network Portal, click the link to Business Filing Services.

Help Center

The Help Center is available both before and after logging into the Hub, allowing you to access resources without creating a login account or sharing personal information. It includes tools that support the most common processes involved in starting and managing a business in Pennsylvania:

  1. Business Licensing Reference Guides: Understand licensing, tax, and regulatory requirements for common business activities.
  2. Find Business Experts: Locate local experts who can assist with a variety of business needs.
  3. Help Guides: Step-by-step instructions for navigating the Hub, Business Filing Services, and myPATH and step-by-step guides for registering, amending, and closing a business.
  4. Videos: Tutorials on registering an LLC or fictitious name (DBA), navigating myPATH, and hiring employees in PA.
  5. FAQs: Quick answers to common questions.

The Help Center is designed to make business owners self-sufficient, reducing the need to rely on attorneys, CPAs, or third-party service companies.

Building a Business Profile

Add a business profile for new or existing businesses you own or support.

  • Conveniently keep track of business details for one or multiple businesses from one login account.
  • Save and share documents with other owners, practitioners, and associates.
  • Keep track of business checklists, ensuring all steps have been completed.
  • Quickly navigate to targeted resources based on your profile information.

Note: Creating a business profile does not officially register your business with the Commonwealth.

Managing a Business

Use the available action buttons to complete official tasks in other Commonwealth systems, including

  • Registering a new or out-of-state business
  • Filing or updating an annual report
  • Amending or closing an existing business
  • Obtaining or updating tax accounts
  • Getting assistance with local business requirements or finding funding opportunities

My Network Portal

My Network Portal provides links to Commonwealth systems used for business registration, licensing, taxes, permits, and additional business needs.

  • Seamlessly sign into Commonwealth systems that share login information with the Hub.
  • Other systems may require their own separate login accounts.

Links update based on the systems you use most often, making navigation increasingly convenient over time.

My Checklist(s)

Use My Checklist(s) to create, save, update, and track the progress of a business checklist. This interactive tool provides customized, step-by-step instructions for:

  • Starting a new business
  • Registering an out-of-state business
  • Expanding or acquiring a business
  • Amending a business
  • Closing a business in PA

Its purpose is to remove the guesswork and help you confidently complete each required step.

Keystone Login (My Profile)

The Hub uses Keystone Login to manage login account profiles. In My Profile you can update:

  • Passwords
  • Security questions
  • Contact information

This information is shared across all Commonwealth systems that use Keystone Login. The email address listed in your Keystone Login profile also becomes your Business Filing Services contact email.
